SOLE F63 Treadmill Review
Recent Buyer L Montrosse said on Amazon
"I just got my sole f63 this week and so far I am very happy with it. I did research treadmills online for months prior to purchasing and was originally looking at an f80 but my husband talked me into the f63 because we have a very small house and the room we planned to put it in would not have fit the f80 very well. I was a little nervous about the f63 since the deck wasn't as nice as the f80 and the deck wasn't as long (I have a long stride) however after running on it last night I love it.
Before we received our sole I had been running on the commercial machines at the gym and I was shocked to find that I actually like the sole much better. My sole shakes MUCH less than the treadmills at my gym and is also much quieter. It feels very stable and solid and barely moves at all when I run. The shock absorption is great as well and running on this seemed slightly less jarring than the treadmills I was using at the gym. The 15% incline feels comparable to the incline on the treadmill at the gym and it is very smooth while inclining. The deck was also plenty long enough for me despite my long stride. My husband ran on it this morning while I was sleeping and I didn't hear him at all despite the machine being in the living room right next to our bedroom.
As far as cons there isn't much to mention however as some people have mentioned it is a little slow when getting up to speed and going back down. I believe this is meant to be a safety feature however my husband wasn't aware it took a while to get up to speed and set his speed and then kept hitting the up arrows...and quickly found himself sprinting once it got up to speed so be careful about this. The fan is rather wimpy but most of them are. The water bottle holder is in a dumb place that makes it pretty much useless. You'd have to bend way over to retrieve it which doesn't seem like a good idea while running. One other thing, if you use the machine at a 15% incline the handles that measure your heart rate are too low to use easily (the ones with the quick buttons are still near you though in case you needed to grab them.) This wasn't a problem for me and I actually liked having nothing in the way (easy to swing your arms without hitting something etc.) however I wear a heart rate monitor.
Overall, I absolutely love this machine. My husband has tried a few of the programs and liked them and I've done my own workouts (running/walking intervals, hill intervals, and sprint intervals) and had no problems. This probably gets about an hour of use or more a day between the two of us and we haven't had any problems so far. If I do discover any problems I will update my review however so far it is really great and I would highly recommend it."
NordicTrack EXP 7i Treadmill Review
Recent Buyer Lisa Jones said on NordicTrack EXP 7i's Site
“This treadmill is a great value for the money. It has a lot of features that make it fun and easy to use. The screen is big enough to see the iFit workouts clearly, and the trainers are motivating and helpful. The treadmill adjusts automatically to the speed and incline of the workouts, which is very convenient. The treadmill also folds up easily and has wheels for moving it around. The running surface is comfortable and has enough space for me. The only thing I don’t like is that the screen does not have a holder for my phone or tablet, and the Bluetooth connection is sometimes spotty. But other than that, I love this treadmill and use it almost every day. I give it 4.5 stars.”
Investing in Your Health with the Right SOLE Treadmill
The Sole F63 stands out for its sturdy construction, and longer warranty, among other things, while the NordicTrack EXP 7i offers more in terms of interactive workouts through iFit. However, with the tablet/phone holder on the F63—which is not available on EXP 7i—users can easily access any app they wish to use for interactive workouts.
